One-Day Awareness Through Movement Intensive
In these one-day workshops we will explore the relationships of intention, imagination and action - and the resulting evolving freedom and choices in your movement and thinking.

Optimal Moves for Musicians : A Workshop for Musicians, Music Educators and Health Professionals
Sat, October 8, 2016 12-5 PM, San Rafael , CA
This public workshop is open to musicians, music teachers and health professionals who work with musicians. The focus will be on developing awareness and understanding of the physical and emotional challenges musicians associate with learning and performing music. Using innovative and potent Awareness Through Movement lessons and demonstrations with instruments, students will learn to prevent and /or recover from injuries, moving beyond injuries to improved performance. You will enjoy improved posture, breathing, greater mobility and flexibility and an increased sense of vitality and well-being.

One-Day Awareness Through Movement Workshop for the Public
Eyes, Tongue, Jaw and Breathing II
And, if your tongue and eyes are free, your neck will be free. In this workshop, using lessons in sitting, lying on the back, standing and on the belly, we will explore the inter- connectedness of movements of your eyes, tongue , jaw, neck and breathing.

Introduction to Feldenkrais Workshop:
Mary will present an introductory workshop on June 12, 2016 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Marin (UUCM), located in San Rafael, California.
These half-day workshops (2-6 pm) will serve as an introduction to the Feldenkrais Method® and the Optimal Moves® Teacher Training Program .
If you are thinking about becoming a Feldenkrais® Teacher this is a great opportunity to experience Awareness Through Movement® and the power of the Feldenkrais Method®. In this half-day workshop, you will experience 2-3 movement lessons, watch a demonstration of Mary giving a one-on- one Functional Integration® (FI) lesson and have the opportunity to speak with Mary about the training process and the upcoming training program.
If you would like to improve the quality of your life, and help others improve the quality of their lives; if you are interested in experiential learning and movement, or if you want to understand how to learn how to learn more effectively, then join us for one of the upcoming workshops.
