Optimal Moves for Musicians: A Workshop for Musicians, Music Educators and Health Professionals
This public workshop is open to musicians, music teachers and health professionals who work with musicians. The focus will be on developing awareness and understanding of the physical and emotional challenges musicians associate with learning and performing music. Using innovative and potent Awareness Through Movement lessons and demonstrations with instruments, students will learn to prevent and /or recover from injuries, moving beyond injuries to improved performance.
